Telecharger cantique sur les ailes de la foi pdf download This is a French sermon from 2010, where Pastor Peter uses many contemporary songs to illustrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After teaching about the nature of our humanity, God's creation and love for us, and how we need to believe in Him to have a relationship with Him, he speaks about how that all changes when we are introduced to life through baptism. From there he speaks about how this allows us to grow in our faith towards living out the ultimate expression of who we are called to be as Christian disciples. The sermon is done well, but there are times where I wish that Peter would have spent more time speaking about the gospel of Jesus Christ, instead of singing only to the point where his sermon would end. The canticle was used to teach about baptismal regeneration by John Calvin.[6] It also became popular for many Christian homeschools who use the original French lyrics with English translation. The song contains an early version of what is now called "The Lord's Prayer", written in Middle English somewhere between 1150-1200.Additional resources* Includes artwork by the English flutist and composer Wendy Rule. The song has also been recorded by Christy Nockels on her 2010 album "Christy" and by Dave Eggar on his 2014 album "Of Things Seen and Unseen".References * Olson, D. (2008).
